Pacific Life announced the hiring of Mary Beth Eckert as executive vice president and chief information and digital officer.
Eckert will be responsible for enterprise-wide Technology and digital strategies at Pacific Life.
President and CEO Darryl Button said in a statement: “Mary Beth’s extensive experience in the insurance and financial services industry, coupled with her strong track record of leading Technology transformations with demonstrated ability in leading high-performing teams, will play a critical role as we continue to grow our digital capabilities.”
Eckert was previously the senior vice president, chief information officer, corporate & insurance services at USAA, where she was a Digital Insurance Women in Insurance Leadership honoree in 2019. She has also worked at Travelers Group, PwC and Zurich North America.
